Display Honey Badger badges in your theme.

Honey Badger can add and remove product data without changing your theme. Follow this guide only if you want Honey Badger’s built-in storefront badges to appear on product cards and product pages.

  1. Open badge settings

    In Honey Badger, open Settings, then select Badges.

  2. Choose Honey Badger Tag

    Select Honey Badger Tag, turn on Enable storefront badges, choose the appearance, and save your settings.

  3. Open the Theme Editor

    After the settings are saved, use Open Shopify Theme Editor in the confirmation banner.

  4. Enable the app embed

    Under App embeds, confirm that Honey Badger badges is enabled, then save the theme.

  5. Run a badge task

    Open a task, run it, then visit an affected product or collection on your storefront to see the badge.

The Theme Editor might not show a badge immediately. A badge appears only after a task assigns a Honey Badger tag to a product shown on the current home, product, collection, or search page.
